About this Showroom
I'm a physician and a full-time mom, wife, and daughter. I love having my family around and at home, and prior to COVID-19, I enjoyed having friends and family over for lunch or dinners. I’m not a great cook, but I can entertain reasonably well. And I like to bake! I exercise and eat healthier because I tell others to do so, but I love good food (great restaurants and junk food), and I'd be a couch potato if that were healthy. I do love to travel, both international and domestic. If I weren’t bound to the house for work and family, I’d probably live in different locations around the world for three months at a time before trying out another location. I plan to take the family to visit the national parks soon as I’ve always wanted to show my girls those anyway during their formative years. I am so grateful to have outdoor space. As the girls have grown up, and as I’ve regularly had nephews, nieces, and friends over, we have used the yard as the place to dig holes for treasure, search for Easter eggs, paint Halloween pumpkins, play in the sandbox (which I just finally donated), catch lizards, observe birds/butterflies/snakes (really!), and learn how to play dangerously...safely. We've always had “dangerous” toys at our place—we've gone through three teeter totter 360-degree sets, and now we have a pogo stick. Our space is a bit messy, and I just live with it, knowing that childhood is short. The girls are now in middle school, and though we still have younger nieces/nephews over, I finally decided to get a seating area so the adults can sit. It's white, because I wanted it, and because it’s Outer, I’m not worried about the cushions getting messy. I love my Outer set! It was a perfect purchase just in time for fall when I could sit outside with a friend or two and catch up. Our family is looking forward to hanging out with my brother and his young family—adults on the sofa and kids playing together in the yard.
