I run a sales team at Microsoft. My favorite things to do are rearrange furniture and decor, design new projects, and help my friends decorate. I also love Orange Theory Fitness. My family and I are avid New Orleans Saints football fans (as my husband is from New Orleans). After two years and six renovations to our renovation plans for our backyard patio, we were able to create an outdoor space that replicates how we live, cook, and entertain indoors. The patio is paved with marble and backs up to the 16th tee of the 12 Oaks golf course. Within it, we’ve created purposeful spaces for comfort and entertainment: from the extra-large kitchen island —to allow for casual gatherings, ample cooking prep space, and storage—to more room for our young kids to dance, blow bubbles, and play, plus a dedicated area for the hot tub and dual lounge spaces grounded by Outer sofas. The firepit area contains a 3-Piece Outer Conversation Set and the living room area houses a 5-Piece Sectional accompanied by the Outer 8x10 rug. The color palette for the space is a mix of light to dark grays and the vibrant white of the leathered marble pavers. A three-hole putting green sits just behind the patio to give a relaxed vibe to the modern feel of the patio, which matches our personalities perfectly.
