Farmhouse Getaway in Texas Hill Country
About this Showroom
We traveled up to a third of each year in our RV before the pandemic. We have now chosen to spend more time at home with hobbies that include gardening, brewing, woodworking and (for my wife) sewing/quilting. Our property is located in the Texas Hill Country and borders a National Wildlife Preserve. To get here you will cross at least 3 cattle guards and likely have to avoid longhorn cattle in the roadway. It is truly an escape to the country! Our patio is set at the edge of a 100 ft cliff and the view beyond of the tree-covered hills is breathtaking. We also live in a "Dark Sky" community and the nighttime views from the uncovered patio are awesome. We have over two acres to live on and are creating fun spaces to enjoy such as a putting green, outdoor eating and entertaining patios and even a "hippie pool.” The idea is to enjoy the great Texas weather outside as much as we can.
