How to Clean Your Outdoor Throw Pillows

Like with everything we make, our Outdoor Throw Pillows are an easy and low-maintenance way to create a comfortable, stylish space outside.

On top of their timeless aesthetic, our Outdoor Throw Pillows are made to last season after season. They can withstand sun, wind, dirt, rain, snow, and everything else life has to throw at them. But like anything designed for the outdoors, they will inevitably get dirty. Fear not. Here’s exactly how to keep them looking brand-new for years to come.

Removing Stains From the Outer Throw Pillow Covers

Whether it’s paw prints, hand prints, or a coffee spill, stains happen. To remove them, we recommend spot cleaning pillow covers with a soft-bristled brush and a solution made of 1 part mild detergent to 3 parts water.

For particularly stubborn stains, pillow covers can be removed and machine-washed. We suggest using a mild detergent in a cold wash cycle.

Allow the cover to air dry in direct sunlight and voila— it’s as good as new.

Care Instructions for Pillow Inserts

All of our pillow inserts can be machine-washed in warm water on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat.
