We’ve officially arrived in Florida, with new Neighborhood Showrooms open for visits in Miami and Boca Raton. To mark the occasion, two of our amazing Hosts held lively backyard parties to introduce Outer to friends, families, and neighbors in the area. Here are a few of the highlights from the weekend’s festivities.
Boca Raton
Host: Michelle Olson-Rogers
Want to know how to throw a party that appeals to adults and kids alike? Ask our Host Michelle, who runs Modern Boca Mom. Walt Rooney serenaded the adults with crowd-pleasers while the kids exhausted themselves in a bouncy house.
The scene:
Tropical D-Lite brought locally-inspired juices (including a delish dragonfruit lemonade), and Sidecar Kitchen put out a classic spread: mini beef wellingtons topped with bourbon BBQ sauce, cashew chicken endive cups, grilled pear and goat cheese crostini with truffle honey, and mini lump crab cakes with basil aioli.
Miami
Host: Geri Del Vento
Geri and her husband Nick’s poolside backyard party was the perfect backdrop for an evening with Outer.
The Scene:
The party took place at twilight with twinkle lights lining the trees and tiki torches adding an ambient glow throughout the yard.
For eats: Caja Caliente catering company brought the flavor with beef empanadas, signature pork and blue crab tacos, and guava and cheese empanadas. For dessert: a creamy dulce de leche empanada!
Bringing together newly minted neighbors from across Miami got us one step closer to fulfilling our mission — to bring life outside.
