I live in Newport, RI and my house is a family compound where 3 generations of extended family return each summer for a weeks long family reunion. We enjoy sailing, going to the beach, and New England clambakes. My house is new, but built in a classic New England coastal style with a wraparound porch with mahogany flooring and a big outdoor fireplace. I added the terraces a couple of years ago to expand our outdoor living. It’s near the ocean, so we get great breezes in the afternoon, and sunsets just beyond the terraces. It’s really peaceful and a great place to gather on summer afternoons and evenings on our Charcoal Aluminum Sectional.
