We are Bay Area natives who lure our friends to visit us on the Peninsula with backyard cookouts and pool time. We like to chase the sun and eat spicy food. We love the outdoor living that the weather in Redwood City allows ("Weather best by government test!"). Our backyard has a lounge area with a fire pit, pool, and dining (/ WFH) area. We can host friends all day in the backyard — and we do! Folks float on the pool while the sun is out, enjoy a BBQ meal, and watch the stars around the firepit in the evening. Many of our friends are cityfolk and refer to our backyard as “the resort”. It's been a particular blessing lately to be able to invite friends with kiddos over; the kids swim for hours and our friends get a little break. When it's just us, we love lingering over a morning cup of coffee with the pups lounging with us on our Outer sofa.
