I produce media for real estate agents — photography, video tours, floor plans, etc. I was one of the first people in the country to actually do real estate video tours online, way back in 2005. Obviously photography and videography are big hobbies of mine even outside of work. I also love to travel, especially to very photogenic and interesting locales devoid of tourists. In the past few years I’ve visited the Galapagos Islands, The Azores, Antarctica, Costa Rica, Patagonia, Iceland, Ecuador. This year we’re heading to Africa. I originally saw a story on a local TV show about "plunge pools" — small, deep pools usable year-round. They are salt water, heat up like a hot tub in the winter, and a nice, cooling place to relax in the summer. I've never been a pool guy, but this just intrigued me. So that started off our construction project. We built a large deck, which would surround the pool, as well as provide a multilevel option for a dining table, a grilling area, and a seating area. A bit down the hill next to the deck is cornhole... so we're hoping to entertain a lot more this year! We love grilling and eating outside, and this is now a nice outdoor extension of our living space.
