I have been a high school counselor for 25 years and love working with my kids at school! I am an avid mountain biker and now work with a friend to build some of our own mountain bike trails. I love to travel. I lived in Spain for half of one year with my wife who is a college Spanish professor. I have a passion for improving our outdoor spaces. Over the past two years, I have worked with a horticulturist to transform our property. Most of the space now has native plants, boulders, and many different types of trees and shrubs. It is now truly a park and mountain-like setting. Our back deck is a large Trex deck set in the woods with our All-Weather Wicker Outer furniture, torches, and a fire table. It is our oasis after a long day at work. When I am outside on our deck, I truly feel like I could be in a cabin in the woods on a mountain. With large boulders, river rock, natural stone steps, along with diverse plantings and trees that attract wildlife, it has become my favorite place to be. We loved our back deck so much that we later added the Outer Teak 3-Piece Sofa to our front porch. This way, we can lounge out front, too, and watch the neighborhood go by.
