I’m a former TV sports host for TWC Sports Net and an Emmy-winning journalist. Recently, I decided to slow down, stay home, and dedicate my time to family. I run the house and take care of the children and pups. Growing up in Brazil, outdoor living has always been in my DNA. Our family spends more time outdoors than in. Ever since we got our Outer sofa, we’ve noticed we spend even more time outside. We have breakfast on the sofa, sip tea, play board games, and drink wine. It’s been a great addition to our space. Our outdoor space is classic and simple, and my favorite part is that it feels like a vacation home. Quiet and green, we often see rabbits, birds, butterflies, and owls. We have fruit trees, lots of flowers, and a storybook swing on our olive tree. Our pool is another main attraction. We love hosting pool parties and often set up an inflatable water slide to make it extra fun for the kids. Currently, I’m hosting Saturday swim lessons for 13 kids! Our gatherings often center around food — my husband is a professional Italian chef — and lunch can easily extend well into dinner time. There’s nothing better than relaxing, sipping on wine, and watching the kids swim.
