I have a very busy and fulfilling career in medical capital equipment sales and am always working to balance work and family life. I spend as much time as possible with our great family and friends, and spend my free days chasing around our active toddler son and busy 8yo daughter. We host our social circle often and love a fun get together, often around the Kansas Jayhawks basketball or Kansas City Chiefs games. We also love wine and travel, and we try to visit the Napa, CA area whenever we can get away (so not as often as we’d like)! As much as our life is centered on family and friends, we wanted to create a space that allowed us to gather and have conversations and adult time—while still being able to see the kids running around in the yard. We love our Outer sofa and chairs. They’re set up around our new fire table. We love to get out there as much as possible; and if the weather has turned cold, we huddle under a blanket, drink a glass of wine, and even roast marshmallows! What’s extra handy is that we placed the sofa so you can see the TV in our screened-in porch. We can watch our favorite teams from the comfort of the patio. Over the holidays, we added twinkling trees to our patio to create a festive ambiance at night. It has brought us a lot of joy already!
