A Goat Cheese, Fig, and Prosciutto Pizza the Family Will Love

We partnered with one of our favorite food bloggers, Virginie Degryse from Crave & Cook, to bring you this delightfully easy and tasty recipe. While you can never go wrong with pizza—fresh, seasonal ingredients make this one particularly special for a spring lunch or dinner outdoors. Without further ado, here’s how Virginie brightens any meal (or snacktime) in just 20 minutes.

Crave & Cook’s Goat Cheese, Fig, and Prosciutto Pizza

This is an amazing snack, lunch, or even dinner. I would even serve this as an appetizer with wine next time I have guests over. I've used store bought whole wheat pizza dough here, but salt bread, pitta, or lavash, would all work great as well.
P.S. It’s also my kids go-to. The beauty of it is, you can adapt it however you want.

Cook time: 20 minutes

Yields: 1 large pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 whole wheat pizza dough
  • 4-6 slices of prosciutto
  • 1/3 cup of fig spread, or fig jam (store bought)
  • 1/2 cup of fresh goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup of feta cheese
  • 3-4 fresh figs, washed and sliced. (The Outer team also tried Heirloom tomatoes!)

Directions

Preheat the oven to 500F.

Roll the dough in a large rectangle. Spread the fig jam all over. Add the prosciutto, both cheeses, and the fig slices on top. Bake for 12-14 minutes, until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Take it out, slice it, and get ready to be blown away by how good this is!
