The Aluminum Frame
- Cleaning Outer’s aluminum furniture is simple.
- For general cleaning, spray down the frame with a garden hose to remove loose dirt and debris.
- For a deeper clean, use a soft sponge or lint-free rag, mild detergent, and warm water. Rinse thoroughly with a spray hose.
- Let the frame air dry before using or storing it. If possible, let it dry in filtered sunlight or partial shade rather than intense sun.
- If needed, please contact us for touch-up kits that can be used for minor surface scratches.

How long will the aluminum last?
Our aluminum furniture is built to last. Is the aluminum furniture easy to move around?
It sure is. Our Aluminum Collection is made from extruded aluminum tubing that’s lightweight enough for a single person to move it around easily, but not so light it will blow away in inclement weather. An armless chair with cushions weighs only 32 pounds. The rectangular coffee table weights only 30 pounds.
Is there setup involved when I receive the aluminum seating?
You won’t find any screws or assembly instructions with our collection. Simply take it out of the box and add cushions--it’s that easy.
How hot does aluminum get compared to steel?
Aluminum doesn't heat up as quickly as steel when exposed to heat. This means that even on hot summer days, aluminum stays cooler and more comfortable to touch compared to steel.
